Each week AMERICOOB teams play each other in best two out of three matches. In competitive leagues, teams remain the same each week, with top two squads squaring off at the end of the season. For social leagues, new teams are picked each week and each player’s win/loss record is tracked. At the end of the season, top players with the most wins coob each other for the title. Perfect college intramural activity or after work get-together. Charge dues to turn a profit.
Across a field of grass, sand, or artificial turf, line up 100 participants shoulder to shoulder, stick a baton in their hand, and a red coob at their feet. Now, 25-feet across, line up another 100 soldiers, and stand 100 blue coob-blocks along their baseline. The stage is set for a teambuilder battle you’ll never forget. One at a time, each player pitches their baton, trying to topple the block directly across. Each time a block falls and is removed out of play, every co-worker cheers. Miss it and you get booed. Teams take turns until one side successfully topples all of their opponents’ blocks and wins..
Run a one day bracket-style AMERICOOB tournament for fun, profit, or charity. Object: On a rectangular field, two teams take turns pitching 5 batons trying to topple their opponents 4 coob-blocks, then the king. Up to ten people can play on each court. Based on the 1000 year old Viking game “KUBB” that millions play worldwide. Teams are encouraged to arrive in matching outfits or dress-up in costume. Kick off your next picnic, block party, or bar-b-coob. set up as many courts as needed. surround courts with a COOB CARNIVAL fundraiser. Allow 25-min. per match.

Event 7: One Day Tournament.
Corporate teambuilder where two teams choose project managers then run a competing 12-game COOB CARNIVAL for charity. Working off a budget, team members decorate booths, arrive in costume, provide prizes, and attract players. Each game is free-to-play with patrons encouraged to place donations in tip jars at booths. The team with the most tips confiscates all donations from opposing team then writes one enormous check to the charity of their choice. Meanwhile, project manager of losing team brings two teammates into the boardroom where THE CEO may or may not fire someone.
Think miniature golf without the putter. Groups of four play 6 different carnival games to achieve a team score. Foursome with highest point totals, wins. 1 hour to complete course. Sample scorecards present 4 different 6-hole courses or two 12-hole courses.

Go from booth to booth playing quick carnival versions of bocce, bowling, horseshoes, croquet, cornhole, lawn darts, ladder ball, shuffleboard, and more. Patrons can win 1, 2, or 3 raffle tickets at 24 different game stations. The more tickets you win, the more chances you have at a prize. Learn and play 4 different 1-on-1 tailgate games each week for 8 weeks. Run your two-hour league after school, after work, or on the weekend. Each week face-off against four different opponents in four different games, earning 1 point per victory. Player with the most points at the end of the season wins. Play for fun or charge dues.
Event 3: 8 Week League
March Madness bracket-style tournament using 32 different tailgate games. Start with 16, 32, or 64 players. Win your 1-on-1 match and move on to the next round. Lose and you’re out. Who will advance to the sweet sixteen, the elite eight, and the final four? Fans fill out brackets for prizes. Play the field for fun, or raise thousands for your charity. TAKES 2-HOURS TO COMPLETE.

Your entire school, camp, or company will have a field day with these summer games. Divide players into two teams, RED vs. BLUE, then face off in 1-on-1 full game competitions of bocce, bowling, beer pong, horseshoes, croquet, shuffleboard, lawn darts, ladder ball, cornhole, and more. See which team wins the most overall games. Every half hour 70 people can play 35 different games at the same time. Throw for the gold!
